historical note (Oct 2010)

The last release/reading in October was at The House restaurant off Kavanaugh on the same date as the only tornado scare of the year. Fans fended off the threat of death to make their way to the event.
Thom Asewicz delivers some new photography on his tumblr.
Hello everybody! It’s been a while since I have posted anything and I thought I would try something new by actually writing something in the caption area other than the day of the week that I posted this. Hopefully this will um … add a little life to this thing? I don’t know what I’m really wanting to do with this blog/Tumblr/I don’t know, but right now I have the urge to be more active with it so I guess what I’m really trying to say is that I’m open to suggestions. If there’s something that you’d like to see a photo of maybe leave a comment that says, “Thom, you should post some photos of monkeys.” If I can find a monkey to photograph, I’ll totally do it. Anywho, this is a belated photo from our “Merry Happy” potluck. Left to right: Phillip, Seth, Michael, Me, Steven, and Matt. Some of them have Tumblrs too and you can check them out at:

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. I’m open to suggestions. Ummm … sweet. Bye.
hello (an introduction and update)
we ate the book is excited to be on tumblr finally. Our group has been growing in number and popularity recently, so it was time to have more of an online presence. We hope to periodically have a featured work of art and/or writing on the site along with updates about where to find us in stores, venues, and events.
Look for us at the Little Rock literary festival this year! We will have two events. The first is a panel featuring Thom Asewicz, Phillip Rex Huddleston, Michael Inscoe, and Rhett Brinkley each exhibiting their major works from the group as well as discussing the origins and progressions of we ate the book. The second is a night reading at Zin Urban Wine Bar featuring all of our writers in the upcoming collection
